Eco-therapy supports emotional healing through movement, connection, and presence. I offer walk-and-talk sessions in both city green spaces and more natural settings, allowing us to engage in therapy while being outdoors. For many, being in nature helps ease anxiety, increase clarity, and create a deeper sense of grounding.

These sessions are flexible.  We might walk through a park, sit under a tree, or simply let the rhythm of walking support the flow of conversation. If you prefer movement to sitting face-to-face on a screen, eco-therapy can be a refreshing and effective alternative.

You also have the option to request that your eco-therapy session includes animal-assisted interventions, where my certified therapy dog, Ari, joins us. Research shows that animal-assisted therapy can reduce anxiety, support emotional regulation, and foster a sense of safety, particularly for individuals who have experienced trauma (whether chronic or single-incident), as well as adolescents and adults who may feel hesitant or unsure about engaging in therapy. The presence of a calm, responsive animal can help ease nervous system activation and build trust in the therapeutic process. Many clients find that Ari brings comfort, grounding, and a gentle sense of connection to our work together.

Eco-therapy invites you to experience healing not just through words, but through connection — to the earth, to your body, to an animal, and to something greater than the therapy room.
